Residence Palazzo Ricasoli sits in a prestigious former palace and monastery dating back to the 16th century - and faces the historical Via San Gallo in the centre of Florence.
Careful restoration has turned the palace - one of the most important monuments of Renaissance Florence - into a high quality modern residence offering excellent service and comfort. The history of this magnificent building is still evident today - the reception area is a splendid room decorated with ancient frescoes which are reminders of its former role as the dining hall of the nuns - and the bar and breakfast room are located in the area where the old well used to be. The breakfast room is a lovely light place in which to enjoy the abundant buffet breakfast.
Palazzo Ricasoli offers 101 rooms and apartments - 60 of which are located in the original building - the others being situated in the new building across the internal courtyard. They are all decorated with a charming mix of modern style and antique furniture and offer a range of accommodation choices - from studios to three-room apartments. To ensure the comfort of guests all rooms and apartments are soundproofed and air conditioned - and offer satellite TV and internet connection. Bookings can be made on a daily or weekly basis.
High quality service and the most advanced technologies are offered to satisfy the needs of business travellers - and part of the ancient building is dedicated to 5 meeting rooms with a total capacity up to 220 people. For guests wishing simply to relax there is a panoramic sun terrace on the roof of the new building.
